Master pass #6

This Master test was held by the Millcreek RC and was a fun test.  Live flyers were released for the quarter.  You can see the bird up in the sky above Tundra.  It actually came down and flew right in front of him and Chris used his second whistle as Tundra eyed up that bird.

Pheasants were used on the land series, was nice for a change.

There was a nice water series with a breaking bird.  Over all a great day with nice weather and friends!

It was a Grand Weekend!

This past weekend Star passed her final two Master Tests at EORC to earn her Grand Master!
It was a long journey to this title with its ups and downs but in the end it was well worth the trip.  Thanks to everyone who threw birds and supported us :0)

Tundra and Chris passed both days as well and is half way towards his Grand title!

Congratulations to Casey.  HR B-Line's Little Miss Sunshine for her two Upland passes this weekend at the Luther Marsh Upland Trial........two more to go!

And Congratulations to Star, B-Line's Supernova who finished her CDX this weekend in three straight trials!  She also was the highest scoring Lab and Highest scoring dog with a tracking title at the LOC trials in February.

Introducing Nelly

This is Nelly, Tundra's daughter from his last litter that he sired.  She was born almost a year ago in April.  She gets along with all the others in the gang and is coming along well in her field training.  Hopefully she will be out competing later this summer.

Happy Birthday!

It's been seven years since our first litter. Hard to believe its been that long.  Happy Birthday Star and all her littermates!

I couldn't resist going back and pulling out a couple of my favourite litter pictures.

Late summer trial results

Its been a busy summer for us and haven't had time to post an update.

Fowler completed his Master Hunt title in 6 straight passes!  He is now in a new home doing tons of hunting in the Dakotas and having the time of his life.

Fowler also placed 4th in junior and Qualifying at Kap.

Star completed her first Open at Kap finishing with a CM.  She is also still slowly working on her Grand Master.  She has two more to go.

Tundra made it to the fourth series of the National, not as far as we hoped but he did work very well.

Now that its fall the dogs will be busy bringing in lots birds :0)
