New Title and more passes

Tundra, in very cold snowy weather finished his UKC upland title today in Essex.  He did a great job hunting up the pheasants.

Reese also passed two tests, she has one more to go to finish.  This is definitely her thing.

Year in review

It was a very busy year with lots of trials, judging and helping a few Labs that needed new loving homes.

The highlights of this year was Tundra passing the Master National and finishing his Grand Master and Star finishing her Grand Master.

Reese, River and Reed all got their JH titles and Ben got his first pass.
Tundra has two more upland passes and Reese got her first.
Star completed her CDX obedience title.

The dogs have enjoyed quite a bit of hunting so far this year.  Reese has matured into a really nice hunting dog.

We found homes for two of Tundra's daughters, Nelly and Maddy.  They are doing great with their new families and going out hunting for their first season.

We also rescued Sandy a chocolate Lab who showed up on our front porch in sad shape.  She is doing great now and is ready to find her forever home.

On a sad note there are two angels this year, Roxie from our first litter and Texas from our last litter.

More Titles!

Its been a busy fall!

Reese finished her Junior Hunter title in September :0)

 

River finished her Junior Hunt Title

 

Chris & Casey finished their Senior Hunter Title and their HRC Upland Title!!

On to Maser and Finished :0)

 

 

Tundra also picked up 2 HRC Upland passes,  Reese passed as well with her first time doing Upland, she was awesome.  Ben also passed his first Junior Hunt test in October.

Canadian Master National

Tundra is now a National Master Hunter!  He passed a week long series of tests where only 18 of the 40 dogs entered passed.

 

Day one land series

This was a triple with a blind up the middle.

 

Star didn't make it though the tests but did some nice work.

 

Day 2 water series
This was an interrupted triple with the first two birds being in line.  The blind was through the middle.

Here is Star mesmirized by the mojo where she missed seeing the long bird and ended our National journey, which just means we get to go to Quebec next year :0)

Day 4 land series

 

 This was a walkup with an honour, triple and two blinds.  Star was test dog for this and stepped on the marks did a nice job on the first blind and had a little trouble with the blind over the old fall.

This series was a triple with a breaking bird and a shoreline blind past a gun station.  Tundra did a really nice job on this blind.
